Santoni

Created in 1919 Santoni is the very first Italian sock knitting machine manufacturer. In the last 20 years Santoni has developed a series of circular electronic “Seamlesswear” knitting machines becoming a worldwide leader in this technology.

“Seamless” machines are a revolution, thus Santoni began focusing mainly on this production including models which offered more flexibility in designing patterns and colors. Currently, with its range of several different type of machines, Santoni is the only one that can cover most of the textile field segments in order to satisfy the various market requirements.

"As a growing company with more than 500 employees it was important to Santoni to simplify the complexity in their sales processes. From a C-level point of view it was important to increase the efficiency of information transmission between different departments (technical-commercial) to sell only what can be produced. Santoni’s product portfolio contains hundreds of possible variations and the possibility of making errors in the quotation is huge. Making mistakes wasn’t the only threat for Santoni’s sales team. Due to their growth it was hard to store and centralize the product information and sales-know-how and to let sales people quote and order fast and preventing them from making mistakes."
